Seeks to notify section 35, 2 to 9 of Maharashtra Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Ordinance 2024 - 16/2024—State Tax - Maharashtra SGST

NOTIFICATION Notification No. 16/2024 State Tax MAHARASHTRA GOODS AND SERVICES TAX ACT, 2017. No. MGST.1524/C.R.40/Taxation-1. In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Maharashtra Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Ordinance, 2024 (Mah.Ordinance No. IX of 2024), the Government of Maharashtra hereby appoints, (a) the 1st day of October, 2024, as the date on which the provisions of sections 35 of the said Ordinance shall come into force; (b) the 1st day of April, 2025, as the date on which the provisions of sections 2 and 9 of the said Ordinance shall come into force.
