Televisions receivers (other than monochrome) - Valuation with reference to retail sale price under Section 4A of Central Excise Act, 1944 Notification No. 50/97-C.E. (N.T.) Dated 10-9-1997 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4A of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government hereby specifies all goods (other than monochrome) falling under heading No. 85.28 of the Schedule to the Central Excise Tariff Act, 1985 (5 of 1986) as the goods to which the provisions of sub-section (2) of the said section shall apply. 2. This notification shall come into force on the 16th day of September, 1997.
