Aerated waters -Abatement from retail sale price for assessable value

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 4A of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, hereby allows fifty per cent of the retail sale price as abatement in respect of aerated waters falling under sub-heading Nos. 2201.20 and 2202.20 of the Schedule to the Central Excise Tariff Act, 1985 (5 of 1986).2. This notification shall come into force on the 1st day of September, 1997.
