Aerated waters -Valuation with reference to retail sale price

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4A of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, hereby specifies aerated waters falling under sub-heading Nos. 2201.20 and 2202.20 of the Schedule to the Central Excise Tariff Act, 1985 (5 of 1986) as the goods to which the provisions of sub-section (2) of the said section shall apply.

2. This notification shall come into force on the 1st day of September, 1997.
