Customs Officers of Free Trade Zones appointed as Officers of Central Excise Notification No. 36/97-C.E. (N.T.) Dated 19-8-1997 In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of section 2 of the Central Excises Act, 1944 (1 of 1944) read with rule 4 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Board of Excise and Customs makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 11/83-Central Excises, dated the 11th February, 1983 (hereinafter called the said notification) namely :- In the said notification, for the Table, the following Table shall be substituted, namely :- "Table S.
