In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3A, sub-section (2) of section 3A or section 37 of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), or rule 57A of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, as the case may be, the Central Government, hereby rescinds the following notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), namely :-
