Export - Rebate of duty on export of all excisable goods except mineral oils and ship stores - Amendment to Notification No. 41/94-C.E. (N.T.)

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of sub-rule 12 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment to the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue No. 41/94-Central Excises (N.T.), dated the 22nd September, 1994 (hereinafter referred to as the said notification), namely :-

In the said notification, for the portion beginning with the brackets, figure and words "(i) the excisable goods shall" and ending with the words "from a factory or a warehouse", the following shall be substituted, namely :-

"(i) except as otherwise permitted by the Central Board of Excise and Customs by a general or a special order, the excisable goods shall be exported after payment of duty directly from a factory or a warehouse;".
