Consumer Welfare Fund (Second Amendment) Rules, 1994

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 37, read with section 12D of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Consumer Welfare Fund Rules, 1992, namely :-

1. (1) These rules may be called the Consumer Welfare Fund (Second Amendment) Rules, 1994.

(2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

 2. In sub-rule (2) of rule 5 of the Consumer Welfare Fund Rules, 1992, -

(a) for clause (e) and the entry relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely :-

"(e) Secretary/Additional Secretary of Department of Rural Development;";

(b) for clause (f) and the entry relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely :-

"(f) Director General/Additional Director General, Bureau of Indian Standards;".
