Amendment to Notification No. 12/78-C.E. - Appointment of Central Excise Officer

In exercise of the powers conferred by Clause (b) of section 2 of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944) and Rule 4 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Board of Excise and Customs hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue No. 12/78-Central Excises, dated the 28th January, 1978, namely :-

In the Table to the said notification, S. No. 1 and the entries relating thereto shall be omitted.
