Amendment to Notification No. 211/82-C.E. - Compounded levy rates for textile fabrics

In pursuance of rule 96 ZI of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 211/82-Central Excises, dated the 31st August, 1982, namely,—

In the proviso to the said notification, in clause (2), for the figures, letters and word "1st January, 1955", the figures, letters and word "1st January, 1970" shall be substituted.
