Amendment to Notification No. 53/59-C.E. [Rule 191B] Notification No. 30/89-C.E. (N.T.) Dated 19-6-1989 In exercise of the powers conferred by rule 191B of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 53/59-Central Excises, dated the 9th May, 1959, namely :- In the Table annexed to the said notification, - (i) against Serial No. 10, in Col. 3, after the words "sacking cloth", the words "D.W. Canvass" shall be inserted; (ii) after Serial No. 39 and entries relating thereto, the following Serial No. and entries shall be inserted, namely : - (1) (2) (3) "40. Rice packed in jute bags Jute bags."
