Aluminium circles - Compounded levy rates for cold rolling machines - Amendment to Notification No. 109/94-C.E. Notification No. 67/97-C.E. Dated 27-11-1997 In exercise of the powers conferred by rule 96ZB of the Central Excise Rules, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 109/94-Central Excises, dated the 13th May, 1994, namely :- In the said notification, for item number (ii) and the entries relating thereto, the following item number and entries shall be substituted, namely :- "(ii) Aluminium circles produced from sheets manufactured on cold rolling machines, - (a) where the length of the roller is 30" or less Rs. seven thousand five hundred (b) where the length of the roller is more than 30" Rs. ten thousand.".
