Security paper - Exemption - Amendment to Notification No. 4/97-C.E. Notification No. 37/97-C.E. Dated 25-6-1997 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment to the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 4/97-Central Excise, dated the 1st March, 1997, namely :- In the said notification, in the Table, after S. No. 67A and entries relating thereto, the following shall be inserted, namely, - (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) "67B. 48.02 Security paper (cylinder mould vat made), manufactured by the Security Paper Mill, Hoshangabad, and supplied to the Bank Note Press, Dewas, the Currency Note Press, Nashik, or the India Security Press, Nashik Nil -".
