Steam used within the factory of production - Exemption - Amendment to Notification No. 4/97-C.E. Notification No. 24/97-C.E. Dated 3-5-1997 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 4/97-Central Excise, dated the 1st March, 1997 namely :- In the said notification, in the Table, after S. No. 25 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be inserted, namely : - (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) "25A. 28 Steam used within the factory of its production Nil —".
