Spandex Yarn subject to 10% excise duty [Heading 54.02] Notification No. 118/94-C.E. Dated 27-6-1994 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 26/94-Central Excises, dated the 1st March, 1994, namely :- In the Table annexed to said notification, after S. No. 18 and the entries relating thereto, the following S. No. and entries shall be inserted, namely :- (1) (2) (3) (4) "18A 54.02 Spandex Yarn 10% ad valorem "
