Specified Goods including Bulk Drugs - Amendment to Notification No. 31/88-C.E. Notification No. 79/92-C.E. Dated 31-7-1992 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 31/88-Central Excises, dated the 1st March, 1988, namely :- In the Table annexed to the said notification, for S. No. 2 and the entries relating thereto, the following S. Nos. and entries shall be substituted, namely :- (1) (2) (3) "1A. Rifampicin Nill 2. Bulk drugs (other than those specified at S. Nos. 1 and 1A above) 5% ad valorem."
