Textured Yarn - Amendment to Notification No. 178/83-C.E. Notification No. 78/92-C.E. Dated 14-7-1992 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 178/83-Central Excises, dated the 1st July, 1983, namely :- In the said notification, after the proviso, the following proviso, shall be inserted, namely :- "Provided further that, the exemption contained in this notification shall be applicable to such textured yarn which has been manufactured out of filament yarn, other than textured, imported under an Advance Licence issued under the Imports (Control) Order, 1955."
