S.S.I. Exemption - Amendment to Notification No. 175/86-C.E.

Notification No. 67/92-C.E.

In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 175/86-Central Excises, dated the 1st March, 1986, namely :-

In the said notification, in paragraph 4, after the second proviso, the following shall be inserted, namely :-

"Provided also that nothing contained in the preceding proviso shall apply on and from 22nd day of May, 1992 to the 31st day of March, 1993.".
