Exemption to small scale sector Notification No. 404/86-C.E. Dated 8-9-1986 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 175/86-Central Excises, dated the 1st March, 1986, namely :- In the said notification, in the Annexure, for S. No. 3 and the entry relating thereto, the following S. No. and entry shall be substituted, namely :- "3. Powered cycles and powered cycle rickshaws; side-cars of motor cycles (including scooters); evaporative type of coolers and parts of such coolers".
