Specified goods falling under Chapter 25, 27, 28, 29, 31 or 32 Notification No. 321/86-C.E. Dated 22-5-1986 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 40/85-Central Excises, dated the 17th March, 1985, namely :— In the Table annexed to the said notification,— (i) in column (3), against S. No. 18, for the words "grinding wheels", the words "grinding wheels or coated abrasives" shall be substituted; (ii) after S. No. 18 and the entries relating thereto, the following S. Nos. and entries shall be inserted, namely :- (1) (2) (3) "19. Lime If consumed within the factory of production in the manufacture of soda ash, sodium bicarbonate and bleach liquor. 20. Inert gas, synthesis gas and gypsum It consumed within the factory of production in the manufacture of ammonia or fertilizers. 21. Producer gas If consumed within the factory of production. 22. l-Phenyl-5-amino pyrazole, 2-Aminothiazole and 4-Amino-2, 6 dimethyl pyrimidine (Cyanmethine) If consumed within the factory of production in the manufacture of Sulphonamides falling under sub-heading No. 2909.20 of the said Schedule.".
