Goods notified for purposes of credit of duty under Modvat Notification No. 290/86-C.E. Dated 8-5-1986 In exercise of the powers conferred by rule 57A of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 177/86-Central Excise, dated the 1st March, 1986, namely :— In the said notification, in the opening paragraph, in clause (ii), after the words "special duty of excise under", the words, brackets and figures "the Finance Act, 1984 (21 of 1984), and" shall be inserted.
