In exercise of the powers conferred by rule 191-B of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 53/59-Central Excises, dated the 9th May, 1959, namely :—

In the said notification, in the Table, against Sl. Nos. 1 to 33, in column (3), references to item No. of the First Schedule to the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), and the said First Schedule, wherever they occur in relation to excisable goods mentioned in the column falling under the said item No. of the said First Schedule shall, subject to such further amendments is the rules of grammar may require, be omitted.

2. This notification shall come into force on the 28th day of February, 1986.
