In exercise of the powers conferred by rule 12 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 203/67-Central Excises, dated the 9th September, 1967, namely :—

In the said notification, for the words, letters, figures and brackets "falling under Item Nos. 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11A of the First Schedule to the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944)", the words, figures and brackets "falling under Chapter 27 of the Schedule to the Central Excise Tariff Act, 1985 (5 of 1986)" shall be substituted.

2. This notification shall come into force on the 28th day of February, 1986.
