Exchange rates for export goods - Amendment to Notification No. 11/96-Cus. (N.T.) Notification No. 16/96-Cus. (N.T.) Dated 19-3-1996 In pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20 of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 (2 of 1899) and sub-clause (i) of clause (a) of sub-section (3) of section 14 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the Notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue No. 11/96-N.T.-Cus. [S.O. 161 (E)], dated the 28th February, 1996, namely :- In the Schedule-I of the said Notification for serial Nos. 11, 12, 14, 15 and in Schedule-II, serial No. 2, and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely :- (1) (2) (3) 11. Pound Sterling 51.74 12. Swedish Kroner 5.02 14. U.S. Dollar 33.97 15. Singapore Dollar 24.13 2. Italian Lira 2.16 This rate will be effective from 21st March, 1996.
