Customs Tariff (Determination of Origin of Goods under the Bangkok Agreement) Amendment Rules, 1995 Notification No. 30/95-Cus. (N.T.) Dated 22-5-1995 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), the Central Government, hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Customs Tariff (Determination of Origin of Goods under the Bangkok Agreement) Rules, 1976, namely :- 1. (1) These rules may be called the Customs Tariff (Determination of Origin of Goods under the Bangkok Agreement) Amendment Rules, 1995. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Customs Tariff (Determination of Origin of Goods under the Bangkok Agreement) Rules, 1976, in rule 3, for clause (d), the following clause shall be substituted, namely :- `(d) "Special Tariff Concession", in relation to any goods, means the exemption granted under the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 26/95-Customs, dated the 16th March, 1995, for the time being in force, from payment of the duty of customs leviable under the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975);'.
