Supersedes Notification No. 41/88-Cus. (N.T.) Notification No. 65/88-Cus. (N.T.) Dated 7-10-1988 In pursuance of sub-clause (i) of clause (a) of sub-section (3) of section 14 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue No. 41 (N.T.)-Customs [G.S.R. No. 691 (E)], dated the 8th June, 1988 the Central Government hereby determines that for the purpose of section 14 of the said Act, the rate of exchange for conversion of one Russian Rouble into India currency or vice-versa, shall be rupees 16.8969. This rate will be effective from Friday, the 7th October, 1988.
