Amendment to Notification No. 17/88-Cus. (N.T.) - Exchange rate Notification No. 40/88-Cus. (N.T.) Dated 7-6-1988 In pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20 of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 (2 of 1899) and sub-clause (i) of clause (a) of sub-section (3) of section 14 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the Notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue No. 17/88-N.T./Customs S.O. 319(E), dated 28th March, 1988 as amended by Notification No. 29/88-Non-Tariff Customs [S.O. No. 484(E)], dated 13th May, 1988. In the Schedule below the said Notification for serial No. 2 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely :- (1) (2) (3) 2. Australian Dollars 9.135 This rate will be effective from 10-6-1988.
