Microprocessors for automatic data processing machines other than motherboards - Amendment to Notification No. 12/97-Cus. Notification No. 98/98-Cus. Dated 27-11-1998 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), read with sub-section (4) of section 68 of the Finance (No. 2) Act, 1996 (33 of 1996), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 12/97-Customs, dated the 1st March, 1997, namely :- In the said notification, in the Table, against serial No. 15, in column (2), after item (a), the following shall be inserted, namely :- "(aa) Microprocessors for automatic data processing machines of heading No. 84.71, other than motherboards, falling under sub-heading No. 8473.30 of the said First Schedule;".
