Magnesium originating in or exported from China PR - Anti-dumping duty Notification No. 19/98-Cus. Dated 4-5-1998 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 9A of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), read with rule 13 of the Customs Tariff (Identification, Assessment and Collection of Anti-dumping Duty on Dumped Articles and for Determination of Injury) Rules, 1995, the Central Government, on the basis of the preliminary findings of the designated authority, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part I, Section I, dated the 6th February, 1998 that there is dumping in respect of the Magnesium falling under Chapter 81 of the First Schedule to the said Act, and originating in or exported from China PR, hereby imposes on the said Magnesium originating in or exported from China PR, and imported into India, an anti-dumping duty at the rate of twenty-seven thousand five hundred and nine rupees per metric tonne. 2. This notification shall have effect upto and inclusive of the 3rd day of November, 1998.
