Spare parts imported under EPCG Scheme - Jigs fixtures, dies, moulds included in spare parts - Amendment to Notification Nos. 110/95-Cus., 111/95-Cus., 28/97-Cus. and 29/97-Cus. Notification No. 8/98-Cus. Dated 23-4-1998 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments, in the notifications of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, as shown in column 2 of the Table below, as mentioned in column 3 of the said Table, namely :- TABLE Sl. No. Notification No. and date Amendment 1. 2. 3. 1. 110/95-Customs, dated 5th June, 1995 In each Table to the notifications mentioned against serial numbers 1, 2, 3 and 4, for serial number 4 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and the entries shall be substituted namely :- 2. 111/95-Customs, dated the 5th June, 1995 3. 28/97-Customs, dated the 1st April, 1997 4. 29/97-Customs, dated the 1st April, 1997 1. 2. "4. Spare parts including Jigs, Fixtures, Dies, Moulds not exceeding 20% of the value of goods specified at serial Nos. 1, 2 and 3 as actually imported and required for maintenance of capital goods so imported, assembled, or manufactured." 1. 2. 3. 5. 28/97-Customs, dated the 1st April, 1997 In the said notification, in explanation, in clause (iv) for the words, brackets, letters and figures "Clauses (a), (b), (d), (e) and (f) of paragraph 10.2 of the Export and Import Policy" the words, brackets, letters and figures "Clauses (a), (b), (d), (e), (f) and (g) of paragraph 10.2 of Export and Import Policy" shall be substituted. 6. 110/95-Customs, dated the 5th June, 1995 In the notification mentioned against serial number 6, in explanation, in clause (v) and in the notification mentioned against serial number 7, in explanation, in clause (5), respectively for the words, brackets, letters and figures "Clauses (a), (c), (e), (f) and (i) of paragraph 121 of the Export and Import Policy" the words, brackets, letters, and figures "Clauses (a), (c), (e), (f) and (i) of para 121 of the Export and Import Policy and para 10.2(g) of the Export and Import Policy 1997-2002 corrected upto 13th April, 1998" shall be substituted. 7. 111/95-Customs, dated the 5th June, 1995
