Gold and silver imported by MMTC, HHEC, STC, etc. - Amendment to Notification No. 80/97-Cus. Notification No. 4/98-Cus. Dated 24-2-1998 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 80/97-Customs, dated the 21st October, 1997, namely :- In the said notification, for the words "the State Trading Corporation", the words "the State Trading Corporation, the PEC Limited" shall be substituted.
