Exemption - Imports under DEPB Scheme - Amendment to Notification No. 34/97-Cus. Notification No. 87/97-Cus. Dated 27-11-1997 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, No. 34/97-Customs, dated the 7th April, 1997, namely :- In the said notification, in condition (iv), - (a) for the words "Tuticorin and Vishakhapatnam", the words "Tuticorin, Vishakhapatnam and Kakinada" shall be substituted; and (b) for the words "Ludhiana and Hyderabad", the words "Ludhiana, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Agra, Faridabad, Jaipur, Guntur and Varanasi" shall be substituted.
