Imports for defence forces - Amendment to Notification No. 39/96-Cus. Notification No. 69/97-Cus. Dated 15-9-1997 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 39/96-Customs, dated the 23rd July, 1996, namely :- In the Table annexed to the said notification, against S. No. 15, in column (3), in the Explanation, for the word "January", the word "July" shall be substituted.
