Raw material and parts for manufacture of electronic goods - Amendment to Notification No. 13/97-Cus. Notification No. 68/97-Cus. Dated 10-9-1997 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 13/97-Customs, dated the 1st March, 1997, namely :- In the Table below the said notification, - (1) in LIST A, - (i) against S. No. 78, for the entry in column (3), the entry "Lead Tabs/Paddle Tabs" shall be substituted; (ii) against S. No. 87, for the entry in column (2), the entry "72, 73, 75, 81" shall be substituted; and (iii) after S. No. 93 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be inserted, namely :- (1) (2) (3) (4) "94. 39, 69, 73, 85 Ceramic/alumina substrates Potentiometers; printed components. 95. 69, 75 Ceramic dielectric (coated or uncoated) Ceramic capacitors. 96. 39 Plain plastic film (other than Polystyrene film) of thickness 12 microns or below Electronic capacitor grade metallised dielectric plastic film. 97. 39, 59, 73 Screen mesh of stainless steel/polyester/metallised polyester/metallised nylon (in sizes of mesh 60 or above) Ceramic capacitors. 98. 48, 76 Kraft paper/tissue paper or aluminium foil for voice coil Loud speakers (cone type)."; (2) in LIST B , after S. No. 8 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be inserted, namely :- (1) (2) (3) (4) "9. 38 Pre-calcined/Pre-sintered ferrite powder Ferrites.".
