Acrylic fibre - Anti Dumping Duty - 38/97 - Customs -TariffExtract Acrylic fibre - Anti Dumping Duty Notification No. 38/97-Cus. Dated 25-4-1997 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 9A of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), read with rule 13 of the Customs Tariff (Identification, Assessment and Collection of Anti-dumping Duty on Dumped Articles and for Determination of Injury) Rules, 1995, the Central Government hereby imposes, on acrylic fibre falling under Chapter 55 of the First Schedule to the said Customs Tariff Act, when originating in or exported from the country specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed, by the exporters mentioned in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table, and imported into India, an anti-dumping duty at the rate specified in column (4) of the said Table : Provided that nothing contained in this notification shall apply to 1.7 denier colour acrylic fibre, originating in or exported from the United States of America by Cytec Industries Inc., U.S.A. 2. This notification shall have effect upto and inclusive of the 24th day of October, 1997. TABLE S.
