Preferential rate of duty for goods imported form specified countries under agreement of Global Systems of Trade Preferences - Amendment of Notification No. 236/89-Cus. Notification No. 166/95-Cus. Dated 7-12-1995 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 236/89-Customs, dated the 1st September, 1989, namely :- In the said notification, in the Explanation, for the words, letters and figures "notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 26/95-Customs, dated the 16th March, 1995". the words, letters and figures "notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) Nos. 26/95-Customs, dated the 16th March, 1995, 84/95-Customs, dated the 1st April, 1995 and 165/95-Customs, dated the 7th December, 1995." shall be substituted.
