EPCG Scheme - Imports for manufacture of capital goods - Amendment to Notification No. 130/95-Cus. Notification No. 163/95-Cus. Dated 1-12-1995 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 130/95-Customs, dated the 25th August, 1995, namely :- In the said notification, in condition (iv), after clause (1), the following proviso shall be inserted, namely :- "Provided that where capital goods required to be manufactured and supplied in terms of the said licence have already been supplied, the components may be used by the exporter for manufacture of any other capital goods in his factory and evidence of receipt of such components in the factory and its utilisation for the aforesaid purpose shall be produced to the satisfaction of the Assistant Commissioner of Customs at the port of importation in lieu of certificate envisaged in clause (3) hereunder;".
