Imports against advance licences - Amendment to Notification No. 149//95-Cus. Notification No. 162/95-Cus. Dated 1-12-1995 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 149/95-Customs, dated the 19th September, 1995, published in the Gazette of India vide G.S.R. 658 (E), dated the 19th September, 1995, namely :- In the said notification, in the Table, after serial No. 2 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be inserted, namely :- "3. All products for export of which Advance Licence is issued to a manufacturer-exporter on an application made on or after 1st December, 1995."
