Defence production - Exemption under Notification No. 177/90-Cus. extended Notification No. 138/95-Cus. Dated 8-9-1995 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 177/90-Customs, dated the 31st May, 1990, namely :- In the said notification, in paragraph 2, for the figures, letters and words "31st day of December, 1995", the figures, letters and words "31st day of December, 2000" shall be substituted.
