Import of goods for carrying out repairs, reconditioning or re-engineering Notification No. 119/95-Cus. Dated 6-7-1995 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 134/94-Customs, dated the 22nd June, 1994, namely :- In the said notification :- (i) in the opening portion and in condition (a) for the words "repairs, reconditioning or reengineering", the words "repairs, reconditioning, reengineering, testing, caliberation or maintanance (including service)" shall be substituted; (ii) in condition (b), for the words "repaired, reconditioned or reengineered", the words "repaired, reconditioned, reengineered, tested, caliberated or maintained (including service)" shall be substituted.
