Metals - Amendments to notifications of Chapters 72 75 Notification No. 116/93-Cus. Dated 4-5-1993 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed, shall be amended or further amended, as the case may be, in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table. TABLE S. No. Notification No. and Date Amendment (1) (2) (3) 1. No. 150/81-Cus-toms, dated the 25th May, 1981. In the Table annexed to the said notification, against S. No. 3, in column (4) for the entry, the entry "50% ad valorem " shall be substituted. 2. No. 83/90-Cus-toms, dated the 20th March, 1990. In the said notification, for the words and figures "at the rate of 15 per cent ad valorem ", the words and figures "at the rate of 12.5 per cent ad valorem " shall be substituted. 3. No. 47/93-Cus-toms, dated the 28th February, 1993. In the said notification, for the words and figures "at the rate of 60 per cent", the words and figures "at the rate of 50 per cent" shall be substituted. 4. No. 52/93-Cus-toms, dated the 28th February, 1993. In the said notification, for the words and figures "at the rate of 35 per cent" the words and figures "at the rate of 30 per cent" shall be substituted. 5. No. 53/93-Cus-toms, dated the 28th February, 1993. In the said notification, - (a) for the words and figures "nickel oxide sinter, falling within Chapter 75", the words and figures "all goods falling under heading No. 75.01" shall be substituted; and (b) for the words and figures "at the rate of 35% ad valorem ", the words and figures "at the rate of 30% ad valorem " shall be substituted. 6. No. 54/93-Cus-toms, dated the 28th February, 1993. In the said notification, for the words and figures "at the rate of 35% ad valorem ", the words and figures "at the rate of 30% ad valorem " shall be substituted.
