Amendments to Notification Nos. 11/86-Cus., 271/86-Cus., 213/88-Cus. and 296/88-Cus. Notification No. 62/91-Cus. Dated 25-7-1991 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed, shall be amended or further amended, as the case may be, in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table. TABLE S. No. Notification No. and Date Amendment (1) (2) (3) 1. 11/86-Customs, dated the 17th January, 1986. In the said notification, after the word, figure and letters "or 7 ACA", the words and figures "or 7 Amino 3 Chloro 3 Cepham 4 Carboxylic Acid" shall be inserted. 2. 271/86-Customs, dated the 28th April, 1986. In the said notification, - (i) for the words and figures "60% ad valorem" , the words and figures "55% ad valorem" shall be substituted; and (ii) in the Schedule, after Sl. No. 3 and entry relating thereto the following Sl. No. and entry shall be inserted, namely:- (1) (2) "4. 'L' Base" 3. 213/88-Customs, dated the 30th June, 1988. In the Table annexed to the said notification, after Sl. No. 3 and the entries relating thereto, the following Sl. No. and entries shall be added, namely :- (1) (2) (3) "4. Ribavirin Ribavirin capsules/ syrup" 4. 296/88-Customs, dated the 1st November, 1988. In the said notification, in the first proviso, for the figures and words "27/88-Customs, dated the 1st March, 1988", the figures and words "67/91-Customs, dated the 25th July, 1991" shall be substituted.
