Specified goods for leather industry - Amendment to Notification No. 267/89-Cus. Notification No. 5/91-Cus. Dated 16-1-1991 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 267/89-Customs, dated the 1st November, 1989, namely :- For the Table to the said notification, the following Table shall be substituted, namely :- "TABLE Sl. No. Description of goods (1) (2) 1. Penetrators. 2. Stamping foil in strips of width not exceeding 6 inches. 3. Eyelets, hooks, rings, magnetic locks, push clips, metal handle, key chain holder, corners, puller, fancy caps, clamps decorative rivets, handle holders, studs, sockets, hinges, buckets, metal frames, tacks and washers. 4. Buttons, press-fasteners and snap-fasteners falling under Heading No. 96.06 of the said Schedule.".
