Exempts all goods from levy of axuiliary duty under Finance Act, 1989 during the period from 20-3-1990 to 31-3-1990 so as to avoid double levy. Notification No. 150/90-Cus. Dated 20-3-1990 In exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), read with sub-section (4) of section 35 of the Finance Act, 1989 (13 of 1989), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts all goods specified in the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), from the whole of the auxiliary duty of customs leviable thereon under sub-section (1) of section 35 of the second mentioned Act during the period commencing on the 20th March, 1990 and ending on the 31st March, 1990.
