Amendment to four Notifications [G.E. Nos. 178, 179, 180 and 181] Notification No. 249/88-Cus. Dated 16-9-1988 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed shall be further amended in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table. No. 22, for the entry in column (3), the following entry shall be substituted, namely :- "Solder mask/resist in ink or film form, with or without associated catalysts." 2. 345/86-Customs, dated the 16th June, 1986. In the Table annexed to the said notification, - (i) against Sl. No. 14, for the entry in column (3), the following entries shall be substituted, namely :- "(i) Epoxy/epoxide resins, compounds or encapsulants, (ii) Fillers, thinners, hardners, accelerators and fire retardants." (ii) against Sl. No, 78, in column (2), for the figures "39,", the figures "39, 56," shall be substituted; (iii) against Sl. No. 81, in column (2), for the figures "32,", the figures "32, 35," shall be substituted; (iv) against Sl. No. 82, in column (2), for the figures "32,", the figures "32, 35," shall be substituted; (v) against Sl. No. 95, in column (2), for the figures "28,", the figures "28, 38," shall be substituted; (vi) against Sl. No. 101, in column (3), for the item "(ii) Hydroxy methyl propyl cellulose", the item "(ii) Hydroxy propyl methyl cellulose" shall be substituted. 3. 346/86-Customs, dated the 16th June, 1986. In the Table annexed to the said notification, - (i) against Sl. No. 18, in column (2), for the figures "85," the figures "84, 85" shall be substituted; (ii) against Sl. No. 24, in column (2), for the figures "75,", the figures "75, 76" shall be substituted. 4. 347/86-Customs, dated the 16th June, 1986. In the Table annexed to the said notification, - (i) against Sl. No. 30, for the entry in column (3), the following entry shall be substituted, namely :- "Steel strappings in coils for tension band/rim band."; (ii) against Sl. No. 37, in column (2) for the figures "68", the figures "68, 73" shall be substituted.
