Amendment to Notification No. 204/76-Cus. [G.E. 159] Notification No. 242/88-Cus. Dated 1-9-1988 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue and Banking, No. 204/76-Customs, dated the 2nd August, 1976, namely :- In the said notification, after the first proviso, the following proviso shall be inserted, namely :- "Provided further that no such certificate shall be required to be furnished in the case of Populated Printed Circuit Boards falling under sub-heading No. 8473.30 of the First Schedule to the said Customs Tariff Act.".
