Amendment to Notification No. 343/87-Cus. [ Ch. 76] Notification No. 233/88-Cus. Dated 9-8-1988 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 343/87-Customs, dated the 27th October, 1987, namely :- In the said notification, for the words "rupees one thousand per metric tonne", the words "rupees five hundred per metric tonne" shall be substituted.
