Amendment to 12 existing notifications Notification No. 232/88-Cus. Dated 3-8-1988 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed shall be amended or further amended, as the case may be, in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table. THE TABLE S. No. Notification No. and date Amendment (1) (2) (3) 1. 227-Customs/79, dated the 30th November, 1979. In the annexure to the said notification, (i) in Sl. No. 10, the words "or for repairs" shall be omitted; (ii) for Sl. No. 12, the following Sl. No. shall be substituted, namely:- S. No. Description of goods "12. Goods received for repairs or reconditioning within three years of the date of exportation, for export after repairs or reconditioning". 2. 77-Customs/80, dated the 17th April, 1980. In the Annexure to the said notification - (i) in Sl. No. 8, the words "or for repairs" shall be omitted; (ii) after Sl. No. 11, and the entry relating thereto, the following Sl. No. and entry shall be inserted, namely :- (1) (2) "12. Goods received for repairs or reconditioning within three years of the date of exportation, for export after repairs or reconditioning". 3. 262-Customs/85, dated the 16th August, 1985. In the Annexure to the said notification - (i) in Sl. No. 8, the words "or for repairs" shall be omitted; (ii) after Sl. No. 11 and the entry relating thereto, the following Sl. No. and entry shall be inserted, namely :- (1) (2) "12. Goods received for repairs or re-conditioning within three years of the date of exportation, for export after repairs or reconditioning.". 4. 263-Customs/85, dated the 16th August, 1985. In the Annexure to the said notification, - (i) in Sl. No. 8, the words "or for repair" shall be omitted. (ii) after Sl. No. 11 and the entry relating thereto, the following Sl. No. and entry shall be inserted, namely :- (1) (2) "12. Goods received for repairs or re-conditioning within three years of the date of exportation, for export after repairs or re-conditioning.". 5. 339-Customs/85, dated the 21st November, 1985. In the Annexure to the said notification, - (i) in Sl. No. 8, the words "or for repairs" shall be omitted; (ii) after Sl. No. 11 and the entry relating thereto, the following Sl. No. and entry shall be inserted, namely :- (1) (2) "12. Goods received for repairs or reconditioning within three years of the date of exportation, for export after repairs or re-conditioning.". 6. 340-Customs/86, dated the 13th June, 1986. In the Annexure to the said notification, - (i) in Sl. No. 8, the words "or for repairs" shall be omitted; (ii) after Sl. No. 11 and the entry relating thereto, the following Sl. No. and entry shall be inserted, namely :- (1) (2) "12. Goods received for repairs or reconditioning within three years of the date of exportation, for export after repairs or reconditioning". 7. 196-Customs/87, dated the 5th May, 1987. In the Annexure to the said notification, - (i) in Sl. No. 4, for the words "of production", the words "parts of" shall be substituted; (ii) in Sl. No. 9, the words "or for repairs" shall be omitted; (iii) after Sl. No. 9 and the entry relating thereto, the following Sl. No. and entries shall be inserted, namely :- (1) (2) "10. Goods re-imported within one year from the date of exportation from the Zone for re-export after repairs or reconditioning. 8. 256-Customs/87, dated the 2nd July, 1987. In the annexure to the said notification, - (i) in Sl. No. 4, for the words "of production", the words "parts of" shall be substituted; (ii) in Sl. No. 9, the words "or for repairs" shall be omitted; (iii) after Sl. No. 9, and the entry relating thereto, the following Sl. Nos. and entries shall be inserted, namely :- "10. Goods re-imported within one year from the date of exportation from the zone for re-export after repairs or reconditioning. 11. Office equipments. 12. Drawings, blue-prints and charts". 9. 258-Customs/87, dated the 2nd July, 1987. In the Annexure to the said notification, - (i) in Sl. No. 4, for the words "of production", the words "parts of" shall be substituted; (ii) in Sl. No. 9, the words "or for repairs" shall be omitted, (iii) after Sl. No. 9, and the entry relating thereto, the following Sl. Nos. and entries shall be inserted, namely:- "10. Goods re-imported within one year from the date of exportation from the Zone for re-export after repairs or reconditioning". 11. Office equipments. 12. No. 9, and the entry relating thereto, the following Sl. No. and entries shall be inserted, namely :- "10. Goods reimported within one year from the date of exportation from the Zone for re-export after repairs or reconditioning. 11. Office equipments. 12. Drawings, blue-prints and charts.". 12. 3-Customs/88, dated the 14th January, 1988. In the Annexure to the said notification, - (i) in Sl. No. 4, for the words "of production", the words "parts of" shall be substituted; (ii) after Sl. No. 9, and the entry relating thereto, the following Sl. No. and entries shall be inserted, namely :- "10. Goods re-imported within one year from the date of exportation from the Complex, for re-export after repairs or reconditioning. 11. Office Equipments, as permissible under the Open General Licence Order No. 23/88-91, dated the 30th March, 1988, issued under Section 3 of the Imports and Exports (Control) Act, 1947 (18 of 1947) and to such extent as may be allowed by the Board of Approval".
