Amendment to Notification Nos. 12/84-Cus., 464/86-Cus. and 16/88-Cus. Notification No. 219/88-Cus. Dated 18-7-1988 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed, shall be amended or further amended, as the case may be, in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table. THE TABLE Sl. No. Notification No. and date Amendment (1) (2) (3) 1. 12/84-Customs, dated the 17th January, 1984. In the Table annexed to the said notification, Sl. No. 2 and the entries relating thereto shall be omitted. 2. 464/86-Customs, dated the 18th November, 1986. In the Table annexed to the said notification, after Sl. No. 12 and the entry relating thereto, the following Sl. Nos. and entries shall be inserted, namely :- "13. Chloro acetyl chloride. 14. Methylene bromide 15. P Methyl Mercapto M Cresol 16. Cyanuric Chloride 17. Chloro-2, 6 Diethyl-N-(Chloro methyl) acetanilide.". 3. 16/88-Customs, dated the 1st March, 1988. In the said notification, (i) Sl. No. 3 and the entries relating thereto shall be omitted; and (ii) after Sl. No. 6 and the entries relating thereto, the following Sl. Nos. and entries shall be inserted, namely :- "(1) (2) (3) 7. Orthoamine phenol Phosalone 8. Chloro acetyl chloride Butachlor 9. Methylene Bromide Ethion 10. P Methyl Mercapto M Cresol Fonthion 11. Cyanuric Chloride Atrazine 12. Chloro-2, 6 Diethyl-N-(Chloromethyl) acetanilide Butachlor."
