Amendment to Notification No. 87/88-Cus. - Auxiliary duty Notification No. 155/88-Cus. Dated 2-5-1988 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), read with sub-clause (4) of clause 77 of the Finance Bill, 1988, which clause has, by virtue of declaration made in the said Finance Bill under the Provisional Collection of Taxes Act, 1931 (16 of 1931), the force of law, the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Govt. of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 87/88-Customs, dated the 1st March, 1988, namely :- In the Schedule to the said notification, after Sl. No. 264 and the entry relating thereto, the following Sl. No. and entry shall be inserted, namely :- "265. No. 154-Customs, dated the 2nd May, 1988".
